The North Sea Medical Centre (NSMC) took its first steps
into work-related health issues in the early 1960’s when
gas exploration was in its infancy in the Southern sector
of the North Sea. The first recorded medical emergency call from an offshore drill ship came into the Central Surgery, at that time a group of 5 General Practitioners. |

The NSMC was formed as a separate Occupational
Health Centre in 1974. The team of Occupational
Health Physicians is headed by Dr Tom Pace,
Accredited Consultant in Occupational Medicine
and Fellow of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine. The medical centre in Gorleston is purpose-equipped for performing a full range of medical services and examinations. We currently look after over 300 companies nationwide and worldwide. |
